Derbyshire Adult Community Education (DACES)
Services for apprentices and employers:
Derbyshire Adult Community Education Service (DACES) offers apprenticeships that are designed in collaboration with employers to ensure that they grow a more skilled workforce.
DACES can support employers through the entire recruitment process so that they are sure to match the apprentice with the roles required within the workforce. This includes advertising vacancies, support with shortlisting and interviews.
They offer apprentices pre interview guidance and support to enable them to have the best opportunity to gain employment. If unsuccessful they can offer feedback and courses in employability, confidence and maths and English.
All apprentices are visited in the workplace and supported throughout their apprenticeship journey. Employers are also provided with on-going support to ensure their apprentice is progressing and on-track to complete their training.
