How we are funded
Destination Chesterfield is a public-private partnership that delivers a range of activities to promote Chesterfield as a place to live, work, visit and invest.
To achieve our objectives, we receive funding from our partners, external funding bids, and commercial activity.
Chesterfield Champions
Over 230 businesses and organisations actively contribute, both financially and in-kind, to promote Chesterfield as a great place to live, work, visit and invest.

Chesterfield Borough Council
Chesterfield Borough Council acts as the accountable body for the Destination Chesterfield Partnership.
It also provides core funding and supports specific marketing campaigns that promote skills, employability, and leisure activities in the borough.
East Midlands Combined County Authority
East Midlands Combined County Authority supports the region’s investment and business growth by providing funding.
UKSPF
We secured UKSPF funding to deliver the Inspired Chesterfield Marketing Campaign. This campaign promotes Chesterfield as a short breaks destination and encourages longer visits, using the borough as a base for exploring the Peak District and nearby areas.
