Chesterfield’s iconic Crooked Spire church will be filled with uniquely decorated Christmas trees once again this festive season, for the annual Christmas Tree Festival, taking place from Saturday 14th November to Sunday 29th November.
What to expect
Now in its 13th year, the event will feature over 120 trees decorated by local charities, organisations, businesses and schools. Each tree will have its own special identity, having been uniquely decorated with creative designs.
From scouts to charities, schools to high street stores, accountants to the Chesterfield Museum, the event is an opportunity for the entire community to get involved and embrace their creativity.
Each tree brings a twist on tradition and is a feast for the senses!
How to attend
The Festival is open from Saturday 14th November to Sunday 29th November, between 10:00am – 4:30pm on Mondays to Thursdays, 10:00am – 5:00pm Fridays and Saturdays, and 12:00pm – 5:30pm Sundays. Drop in between those times to tour the trees and choose your favourite creation.
Admission is free of charge and last entry is 20 minutes before closing time.
Please note: The church doors may be open at other times for services and events, during which it will not be possible to visit the Festival. Dogs are NOT admitted to the building unless certified assistance dogs.
