This Back to Basics Drawing course at StraightCurves starts on Thursday 20th January 2022
Contrary to what many people believe anyone can learn to draw and it is a fantastic way to relax and unwind. This course looks at the basic techniques to help get you started over 5 sessions. We will explore sketching, shading, perspective and proportions, alongside working in different mediums.
If you have always fancied learning to draw or if it is something you would like to get back into after a long break this course will take you back to the basics to get you started.
Each week we start with a warm up exercise before exploring different techniques and mediums.
Anyone aged 12 and over who either loves drawing and wants to improve their skills, a beginner has never tried drawing or anywhere in between. It is a great way to get back into drawing if you are feeling a little rusty too.
There is no need to bring anything along other than your glasses if you need them to see!
