Chesterfield Lantern Parade 2021
Junction Arts and Chesterfield Borough Council presents Chesterfield Lantern Parade 2021 which will take place at Queen’s Park.
Gather at Queen’s Park bandstand from 3:30pm
Entertainment & performance by The Handmade Samba Band
Parade sets off 4pm
Finishing at the Market Place Christmas Tree with brass band carols
Please note: Queens Park footbridge has a steep incline and the route includes cobblestone pavements.
Free Community Lantern Workshops
Junction Arts will be holding free community workshops where you can build a nature inspired lantern to bring along to the parade. No experience needed and everyone welcome, recommended for ages 5+.
Drop-in workshops with limited spaces, no booking required. Please do not attend if you have COVID-19 symptoms.

Unit directly under the big screen on Vicar Lane in the town centre: 10am to 3pm. This workshop is open to everyone to attend.
