Festival of Remembrance
Visit the Winding Wheel for the 44th Festival of Remembrance.
Organised by The Fellowship of the Services, the event includes a Parade of dignitaries, a Muster of the Standards of the Ex-Services organisations, and the Civilian Emergency Services.
The units of Chesterfield’s Cadet forces will be involved.
The concert section includes the audience, Long Eaton Silver Prize Band and the compere Jayne Darling.
A Respectful Remembrance Service will be conducted by the Reverend Butt and will include the Staveley Churches United Choir and the compere.
A Poppy Fall will take place and Flags of the Armed Forces will be present.
