Gilbert and Sullivan Autumn Concerts
Chesterfield Gilbert and Sullivan Society’s autumn concerts will take place on Friday 5th October at Holymoorside Village Hall and Saturday 6th October at Hasland Village Hall, both starting at 7.30 pm.
The concerts will include choruses and solos from popular musicals past and present that highlight the theme of “Music of the Night” in addition a WWI selection and a bit of G&S.
The choir is delighted to be joined by bass soloist Stephen Godward, who will perform in both halves of the concert. Musical Director Andrew Marples will take charge of the evening, with Society accompanist, Chris Flint, at the piano.
