Half-term in the farmyard at Chatsworth

Chatsworth young farmers plus

Fun awaits your young ones, and those young at heart, this half-term with a host of activities in the Chatsworth farmyard and playground.

Meet friendly animals, from pigs and horses to goats and guinea pigs! There are even some rare breeds for you to see. There are animal feeding and handling sessions for you to get up close and personal, as well as a bird hide for you to visit and see what birds you can spot.

Why not take a free tractor trailer ride through Stand Wood, or sneak through the secret tunnel to the children’s playground! There are plenty of ways to burn off your energy including fetching water from the stream using the Archimedes screw and playing in the huge sand play area!

If you want some time to relax and reset, you can try a number of seasonal crafts!

Please note: redevelopment taking place on the playground means part of the playground including the zip wire and climbing frame will not be accessible over half term.

Please check the noticeboard on arrival for specific timings. All activities may not be available each day.
