Lockdown your data: East Midlands Cyber Security Week

East Midlands Cyber Security Week brings together businesses, digital specialists and policymakers to identify the practical steps that businesses should be taking to protect themselves against digital crime.
The pandemic has caused the world to adapt. As technology is incorporated into more aspects of our daily lives, remote-working has become the norm. This has meant cyber-crimes and cyber security have evolved and diversified, bringing new challenges.
This changing landscape has increased the need to develop innovative managerial, technological, and strategic solutions to allow the business world to keep moving.
To strengthen the support to businesses across the region, East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire) have partnered with De Montfort University and local Industry experts to deliver Lockdown Your Data: East Midlands Cyber Security Week, which takes place from Monday 1st March until Friday 5th March.
The week-long event has been designed to inform and support businesses looking to understand the strategic decisions needed to ensure digital resilience.
A series of webinars will be delivered each day from Industry leaders and experts. From attending delegates can gain insight into the challenges faced from cyber crime and hear how to establish a holistic, risk-based approach to cyber security and learn how to devise and implement continuity and recovery plans.
