Dronfield Wine World
Dronfield Wine World is a tiny Tardis of a shop offering specialist quality wines and spirits from around the world and from Derbyshire. It is run by couple Richard King and Jane Taylor and their wines reflect their passion for quality, value and individuality. They are lovingly produced by winemakers who are passionate about their craft. A particular strength is their range of wines from Chile; Richard is Chilean and they lived and worked there for many years. This has meant that they know the winemakers of the wines they stock in the shop and frequently visit them to keep up to date with the latest developments in this exciting country. Nearer to home, they also stock local gins and, where possible, local wines, such as the wines from Renishaw.
They love wine and want to share this passion with their customers which is why there is always something open to try in store as well as frequent tasting events either in the shop or at bigger venues. They also offer private events outside tailored to individual requirements such as birthday parties, corporate events, or events for clubs.
Alongside this, they offer a range of delicatessen items, locally sourced where possible, to accompany the wines and to go into the hampers which are very popular with customers and corporate clients alike.
