Chesterfield Santa Fun Run & Walk
Organised by Cannon Events since 2016, the Chesterfield Santa Fun Run features participants dressed in Santa suits running around the park, with a 1500m race (10am) and another one of 5k (10.30am).
There will be a children’s 1500m course which is 3 .5 laps around the Cricket Pitch.
The 5k starts with a lap of the Cricket pitch then just over 4 laps on the outer path of the park. Both races finish in front of the Cricket Pavilion.
This is a fun run and therefore no finish line timings will be recorded. If competitors wish to record a time then they must do so on their own timing device.
A Commemorative Medal will be awarded to all finishers.
Santa Suits are included for under 16’s. Adults can choose to buy a Santa Suit or wear one from a previous year. Santa Suits will be available to collect prior to the event from Ashgate Hospice 10.00AM-12.00PM on the 23rd of December or on the day from 9.00AM from Queens Park cricket pavilion.
Those entrants providing their own Santa Suit please collect race number from the Cricket Pavilion from 9am on race day.
No entries will be taken on the day, the closing date for online entries is 23rd December or before if 500 limit is reached.
