Staveley Hall 1940s and Wartime weekend
Join Staveley Hall for a 1940s and Wartime themed weekend. The weekend will be filled with singing, dancing, displays, dresses, vehicles and more.
The event will involve actors from the 1940s and wartime era. There will be exhibits of arms equipment,
dress, transport, and memorabilia of the period. Participants will give demonstrations and explanations of their particular subject.
The event will be in the grounds of Staveley Hall, and it is planned that the Hall grounds will contain
stalls and exhibits. Most of the grounds are accessible to disabled and young persons, all are welcome.
The event is educational, entertaining, and inclusive, many elderly persons have benefitted from hearing songs from the past as well as in some cases re living the dances of the period.
