We’re delighted to invite manufacturing and engineering businesses to the next Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Manufacturing Forum.
Join us for an insightful session with Daniel Rumszauer, Economics Scenarios Manager at NatWest Group, who will share his outlook for the year ahead. Daniel will explore the key economic trends shaping the UK and global business environment, including the opportunities, challenges and wider factors that could impact manufacturing and engineering businesses.
About Daniel
Daniel is a Macroeconomist in the Forecasting and Scenarios part of the Economics team at NatWest Group. He joined the team in 2024 and is primarily responsible for keeping the Bank informed on economic developments and helping decision-making by producing timely and relevant economic analysis. His research interests are energy and commodity supply chains, and how pricing and incentives impact customer behaviour. He joined the bank in 2019 as part of the Finance team and gained considerable expertise in banking and financial forecasting. His other areas of interest are public policy, geopolitics and European economies. He has an Economics and Business degree from the University of Aarhus in Denmark.

The Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Manufacturing Forum provides a platform for businesses across the sector to share their views, raise key issues and help shape the future of manufacturing and engineering in Chesterfield and North Derbyshire.
