Get ready for some frightfully good fun in the heart of town. The Halloween Spooktacular is bringing spooky smiles and creative crafts to Chesterfield Market on Saturday 31st October, making it the perfect way to celebrate the season without the scares.
What to expect
The market will be alive with Halloween spirit for you to join in free activities throughout the day.
Children can visit the face-painting station to transform into ghouly characters before setting off to explore the stalls. Creative little ones will love making their own Halloween mask to take home, the ideal accessory for posing for a spooky selfie with the event’s wicked witch and vampire stilt walkers.
Sparky Ink Studio will be running an animation workshop, where visitors can make their own ghostly mini film using handmade skeletons and pumpkins.
There’s also the popular Pumpkin Trail to enjoy. Pick up an entry form, search for the hidden pumpkin letters across the indoor and outdoor markets, and unscramble the mystery Halloween word. Once you’ve cracked the code, head to craft gazebo outside McDonald’s restaurant to exchange for a creepy treat; a fun challenge to keep everyone entertained while exploring the market’s many retailers!
Bring your family along for a creative way to enjoy Halloween together, with plenty of photo opportunities and fun along the way.
How to attend
