What can you do to help promote Chesterfield and North Derbyshire as a wonderful place to invest, work, live and visit?
We would love our 230 Chesterfield Champions to help spread the word over the coming months by sharing one or more of Destination Chesterfield‘s marketing activities.
You could help promote the town through your business and personal social media accounts. You could include information about Chesterfield and North Derbyshire on your internal communications, linking to the Chesterfield website from your business website. And of course, we’d love you to share via word of mouth.
Our business spotlight currently shines on our town’s office spaces and Chesterfield’s presence at the UK’s biggest trade and investment show, UKREiiF.
Our visitor and resident activity focuses on Summer in Chesterfield, including Father’s Day.
Here are 5 ways you can support Destination Chesterfield to boost our town’s growing economy:
1. Promote Chesterfield offices
We have launched a social media campaign to help growing SMEs and start-ups find their perfect office space. Search #InvestinChesterfield to find the latest social media posts. Our business social media channels are on LinkedIn, Facebook and X. We’d love you to comment and like these to help increase our reach. You can also create your own posts and link to the Chesterfield Offices website. Our photography library can be used to promote Chesterfield.
2. Celebrate our attendance at UKREiiF
Working closely with partners, we’re showcasing Chesterfield at the UK’s biggest investment show. You can follow our activities via Destination Chesterfield’s business social channels including LinkedIn, Facebook and X. We’ll also be updating the Chesterfield news website. We’d love you to comment and like these to help increase our reach – during the week of UKREiiF and beyond. You can also share your own posts and link to the Invest in Chesterfield website. On Tuesday 21st May, the Chesterfield Property and Construction Group meet at the Bierhaus for networking drinks. On Wednesday, we work with colleagues across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to showcase the region and will hear from the East Midlands Mayor Claire Ward on opportunities across the patch. 3. Showcase Chesterfield business events
As demand grows for business events, we encourage you to help spread the word about all Chesterfield events. Find our business event posts by searching simultaneously for #ChesterfieldEvents and #ChesterfieldBusiness. Comment on our social media posts via our business LinkedIn, Facebook and X accounts to boost our reach. You can also create your own posts and link to the Chesterfield events website. We are also working on a new business event section for the Chesterfield website to boost our marketing activities. As well as creating extra social media slots and testing LinkedIn newsletters to boost our reach.
4. Share experiences this summer in Chesterfield
The Summer in Chesterfield campaign celebrates our vibrant town and wider area with its many experiences to share. Search for #SummerInChesterfield to find the latest social media activities across our consumer Instagram, Facebook and X channels. Comment on our social media posts to boost the reach. You can also create your own posts and link to the Summer in Chesterfield website. Our photography library can be used to promote Chesterfield.
We are also working on launching a Tik Tok channel. As well as testing for the first short breaks marketing campaign.
5. Tell our town’s story through Chesterfield photography
Our photography library helps promote our town as a fantastic place to invest, work, live and visit.
