Employment Law Update Workshop

Katie and Sara Banner Jones Employment Team of the Year

Employment Law changes more than any other area of the Law and it can be costly for businesses to not keep up to date. This workshop will be delivered by Katie Ash and Sara Patel of Banner Jones Solicitors and will include :

• An overview of the employment relationship from recruitment through to termination with tips to help you manage this more effectively

• Recent changes to the law, including flexible working

• Case study examples of how easily things can go wrong

Katie Ash, Head of the Employment Law team at Banner Jones, has over 19 years’ experience in dealing with all aspects of HR and employment law matters, and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. She acts for both employers and individuals covering everything from claims for unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal and discrimination to employment contracts, grievances, disciplinary matters, policies, procedures, TUPE and settlement agreements.

Sara Patel is a Paralegal in the Employment Law team at Banner Jones. Her previous employment in HR, gives her an insight into both employer and employee perspectives, especially when dealing with matters relating to disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancy, discrimination and sickness absence.
