Made in Chesterfield Launch – Organised by Destination Chesterfield

Thursday 2nd November at 18.00 – Barrow Hill Roundhouse

Join us for an evening drinks reception to officially launch Made in Chesterfield 2017 – a celebration of the manufacturing industry in the town. Held at the newly refurbished Barrow Hill Roundhouse, there will be tours of the venue. There will be plenty of time to network with fellow businesses.

Once again, this annual event brings together key speakers from the heart of local business, putting emphasis on the future of manufacturing and business within our region.

The seminar forms the latest in a program of annual events jointly hosted by the Manufacturing and Trade Group, sponsored by Banner Jones Solicitors, NatWest and Shorts.  Held alongside Destination Chesterfield’s ‘Made in Chesterfield’ program, this event is open to all businesses owners within the local and Sheffield city region.

Speakers Include:

  • Richard Hill, Head of Automotive & Manufacturing at Natwest
  • Sebastian Burnside, Senior Economist at RBS Group

Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Manufacturing Forum – Organised by Destination Chesterfield in partnership with United Cast Bar and NatWest Bank

Please note this event is only open to Manufacturing businesses in North Derbyshire, any registrations from non-manufacturing businesses will be cancelled.

As a North Derbyshire manufacturing business we would like to invite to attend the Chesterfield Manufacturing and Engineering Forum at the Casa Hotel on the 16th November from 12.30 – 14.30

Organised by Destination Chesterfield with support from NatWest and United Cast Bar Ltd, the event will welcome a guest speaker to discuss the latest trends in the manufacturing sector. There will be a 2 course lunch as well as a chance to discuss business with your colleagues in the sector.

The forum was launched to give the manufacturing and engineering sector a voice in Chesterfield and Destination Chesterfield wants to develop a programme of activity around awareness raising, interaction with schools and developing skills . Sheffield City Region and D2N2 LEP’s are asking Destination Chesterfield to feed into Growth, Skills and Funding plans. We want to ensure we represent the sectors views and this forum will help shape that.
