Girls in Football event
The event, organised by the Chesterfield School Sport Partnership and Derbyshire County FA is designed to introduce girls aged 7-9 to football in a fun and friendly environment, harnessing the power of Girls’ Football Week.
England Women’s Derbyshire-born U20s Goalkeeper, Sophie Baggaley, will also be at the event. Born in Newton in the Bolsover District, Sophie progressed through the Derby County Centre of Excellence and into the England setup. She now plays in the Women’s Super League One with Birmingham City Ladies FC and represents the Lionesses at U20 level.
Sophie, as well as Derbyshire FA and Chesterfield SSP staff will be on hand to assist with any requests you may have.
