Stainsby Festival
Stainsby Festival is a well-established, intimate event in a beautiful rural setting – a three day music and arts festival on a green field site overlooking the hamlet of Stainsby and Hardwick Hall.
The festival features folk and world music, original singer/songwriter material, theatre, film, poetry, children’s events, craft stalls, philosophy walks, performer’s competition and a real ale bar featuring Derbyshire micro breweries. It is all about live music and performance: hearing, playing, writing, performing, learning.
There’s something for everyone at this family friendly festival. A registered charity, all proceeds go back into the event and is run entirely by unpaid volunteers. The festival tries to be green and sustainable and the site returns to pasture after the festival.
