Summer in the Square at Vicar Lane
Summer continues at Vicar Lane shopping centre, inviting shoppers to take a break, sit back and relax amid a busy day shopping to catch all the sporting action LIVE on the big screen!
Pull up a Vicar Lane deck chair on the outdoor lawn in St James’ Square, grab lunch from Pizza Pi or a smoothie from Qoozies and catch The Commonwealth Games shown live from Birmingham starting on 28th July – 8th August.
Also being covered is the upcoming cricket tournament, ‘The Hundred’ from 3rd August.
Chesterfield’s own ‘Bess Heath’ will feature for the Northern Superchargers in the Hundred this summer so we encourage shoppers to come along and show support.
Visitors are encouraged to bring family along and take advantage of the giant games around the square for everyone to get involved with. There is giant chess, connect 4, table tennis and more, so lots of opportunities to battle it out with friends and make a day of it.
There is no need to book and all games and deck chairs are completely FREE to use!
