The Chesterfield Postcard Show is back!
Bring along the family to explore miniature artworks at West Studios this spring. A collaborative effort between local artist, Dave Elsom, and community arts charity, Junction Arts, this year’s show is called ‘Memories Are Made of This”. This lovely event celebrates getting creative and its impact on self-esteem and well-being.

Artists of all ages and abilities are invited to be part of the exciting exhibition, all you need to do is submit a postcard-size piece of art by the 24th of April 2024.
Last year 173 artists submitted their works with 329 pieces of original art on display, raising over £1,200! Every postcard that is sent in will be featured in the show. Get stuck in with the family and make your postcard whatever you want it to be. Whether that’s a painting, a photograph or a digital artwork… Let your imagination run wild! It just needs to be A6 size, done on card and based on the theme “Memories Are Made of This.”
When you’re finished, send your creation to The Chesterfield Postcard Show, Junction Arts, West Studios Sheffield Road, Chesterfield S41 7ET by the 24th of April 2024. If participants need a card, they can send a message to Hannah@junctionarts.org to request a blank card to be sent to them.
The original pieces will be available to buy during the exhibition to raise money to support local arts charity Junction Arts and their work within the community.
