Vicar Lane Summer Fest

Vicar Lane is inviting families to shop, relax, explore, dine and enjoy all they have to offer this summer.
Visitors can choose from Giant Chess, Connect Four or Table Tennis for a competitive game in the sunshine, before stopping for a bite & relaxing on a deck chair in St James’ Square – and that’s not all – on selected Saturdays in August visitors can get involved in mini summer fest events for FREE!
On Saturday 12th August from 10am – 4pm, go crazy and compete with friends and family as you play a game of mini golf which will be set up in St James’ Square. There is no need to book but this is expected to be a popular one!
On Saturday 19th August from 11am – 4pm, shoppers can expect live performers who’ll be putting on a show in front of the big screen in St James’ Square. Little shoppers can join in the fun and have their faces painted before posing in front of our selfie wall!
On the weekend of 26th and 27th August, festival lovers can once again take advantage of the Vicar Lane big screen as all the best bits from Reading and Leeds festival will be streamed from 12noon, alongside alfresco dining and roaming entertainers that will set the tone and get everyone dancing as they shop.

With Chesterfield Pride and the historic Medieval Market happening so close by – it is set to be a great atmosphere and we are excited to join in the fun and offer a place to come and shop, relax, enjoy and dine out!”
