Easter Egg Hunt – 29th March – 13th April

Bring the family into Chesterfield town centre, where you can head to Aunty Dot’s sweet shop in the Market Hall to collect your activity sheet for an Easter Egg Hunt! Then, find the Easter eggs to spell out a word. If you return your entry form to the sweet shop, you will be entered into a prize draw with Easter eggs for first, second and third place!

Meet Peter Rabbit™ at Vicar Lane – Sunday 30th March

Hop along to Vicar Lane, where you can meet everyone’s favourite, mischievous bunny – Peter Rabbit™! There will be opportunities throughout the day to meet Peter Rabbit and get your photo taken with him. You can also plant seeds in the vegetable patch and have your face painted!

Easter Panto, Robin Hood at the Winding Wheel – Wednesday 3rd April

If you’re looking for fun for all the family this Easter half term, this is it! Enjoy traditional panto fun at the Winding Wheel’s Easter panto, Robin Hood. With an all-star cast including Louie Spence and George Sampson, you’ll be sure to get the giggles as you spend quality time together.

Make your own Easter bunny puppet at Pavements Shopping Centre – Thursday 4th April

My Arty Party is hosting a FREE craft workshop for children in the Pavements Shopping Centre. Families can visit anytime between 11am and 3pm, so come along and make an Easter bunny puppet!

1940s market Spitfire

1940s Market – Thursday 11th April

Immerse yourself in 40s music, entertainment, exhibitions and meet the stall holders in period dress. You will even have the opportunity to take pictures with classic cars, a vintage fire engine, and a full-size replica spitfire!

Chesterfield Museum will be on hand so you can handle objects from WW2, along with lots of other activities to enjoy, and Vicar Lane Shopping Centre are getting involved with their Swing into the 1940s event!
