A brand-new event for 2026, The Great Chesterfield Feast brings a vibrant mix of food, drink, shopping and entertainment to the heart of the town centre. Taking place from Saturday 1st – Sunday 2nd August.
What to expect
The festival takes over New Square for the weekend and is free to attend. It brings together street food traders, artisan producers and independent businesses.
Visitors can enjoy live music and family-friendly activities throughout the event.
So expect to see a wide range of international street food, sweet treats, craft drinks and handmade goods. There is something for all ages.
Whether you’re planning a family day out, meeting friends, or simply exploring new food in town, the event offers plenty to enjoy.
Importantly, LSD Promotions delivers the event in partnership with Chesterfield Borough Council. Together, they focus on supporting local businesses and strengthening community involvement.
As a result, the event creates a lively and inclusive space for both residents and visitors.
Dogs are welcome too. So, you can bring the whole family, including your pups.
How to attend
The Great Chesterfield Feast runs all weekend, from Saturday 1st to Sunday 2nd August, in New Square.
Simply head into Chesterfield town centre and enjoy the food, drink and atmosphere.
